Berlin

The second day in Berlin we went for a big walk. We first went to Museum Island. It’s a tiny island in the middle of the river. We then went to the Dom. The Dom is a big church. After that we went to the freedom angel and my Dad and I went up to the top on stairs and it was like 25 floors and my legs were hurting.  At the end of the day we went to a Christmas Market and an old church that was bombed in WWII.

The next day we went to Hansa studios and it was more fun than I expected it to be. Some of dads favourite bands recorded in Hansa studios like David Bowie.

My mum dad and I played on the piano in Hansa studio. My dad and I went on a little man made snow mountain and went on a tyre thing down it. We also went on a really long walk for 5 hours it was tiring. We went on the hop on hop of bus and we were at the top for the whole time it was a double decker bus it was fun. We saw the last parts of the Berlin Wall and it was covered in graffiti.

Today we arrived in Dresden and we went on an EC train it was fun. When we arrived we went to a restaurant and had some German food for lunch.

Hamburg, Hannover and Berlin

The day after we arrived in Hamburg we went on a long walk in the city and I felt much better. We went to 3 different Christmas markets and I had a hot chocolate. Mum bought a Christmas decoration.

We also met my aunt Nicole, her boyfriend Mark and my cousins called Zoe and Mia. We had dinner with them at a restaurant on the lake and it was yummy.

The day after we went to Hannover by train. The train was so fast that it floated a bit above the tracks it had a table they even had internet connection for games and YouTube I watched Simpsons on the train on my iPad.

I met Onkel Heinz and Tante Irmchen at the Hannover train station. They live in a small village called Adensen. On the day we arrived we went to a castle called Schloss Marienburg. I saw knight armor that weighs 50 kgs.

In the morning we went on a long walk through Adensen and we went to a graveyard and saw my dads Gross Oma and Opas grave. In the afternoon we went for another walk and in the evening we went to a huge Christmas market in the city of Hannover and it was like 15 kilometres.

The next day we went a small town called Springe and saw a wedding at the town hall. In the evening we went to another town called Hildesheim and saw their Christmas market. I ate a bratwurst sausage and it was yummy.

On Saturday Onkel Heinz and Tante Irmchen took us to the bahnhof (train station) and we went to Berlin on a ICE train.

In Berlin we met my dad's cousin Christian and went for a walk in Berlin it was pretty warm because it was 4 degrees Celsius.

From Dubai to Hamburg

The night before I left Dubai to go to Hamburg I went on a safari ride in a four wheel drive Toyota landcruiser across the sand dunes in the desert. It was very bumpy and it was like a roller coaster it made my tummy a bit funny. My mum and dad were so freaked out that they swore a lot.

In the middle of the desert we stopped and watched the sun go down then we went back to the camp and had a bbq dinner and watched belly dancing. I went on a camel as well.

On the way to Hamburg I vomited five times and it took seven hours to get to Hamburg! When we got here I vomited Two times and it was negative two degrees.

After having a rest we went to Christmas market in gansemarkt. It was really cold outside. Mum and dad had gluwein which is hot spiced wine and I had kinder gluwein. We got some sausages and bread and some lebkuchen which are German Christmas biscuits. Dad bought me a hat to cover my ears and gloves.
